Cyberpunk is a popular art style from the 80s and the neon-noir genre of movies which feature densely populated, futuristic cities illuminated by bright neon signs and advertisements. Much of cyberpunk focuses on advanced technological and scientific achievements, such as cybernetics and artificial intelligence. I also created a YouTube playlist.

1. Give Your Photos the Cyberpunk Look

You'll process the original photo for a hyper-realistic HDR appearance, apply heavy color grading with hot pinks and bright blues, enhance the neon signs, then finish off with a subtle mist effect.

2. Create a Human Robot Effect

Draw the lines where the holes will be in the human body, apply lighting and shadows to the lines, add elements that will be inside the human robot, play with some colors and the final color correction, and finish with a circuit background.

3. Make a Made In 80s Wallpaper

Start by adding a space image with stars and giving it a color effect, create the upside down purple and teal triangle lines, write out all of the text, and finish by making some realistic light spots and glares.

4. Make a Cyborg Lady

Start with the lines to define the shapes, make the bubbly buttons and the glossy circles, smoothen the skin of the model and glasses, end by adding a background and adjusting the color.

5. How to Edit Like Brandon Woelfel

Brandon Woelfel is a New York photographer who is known for his whimsical lights and flares, first you'll enhance the colors, then finish by blending images in to add lighting effects.

6. Ghost in the Shell Robot Geisha Face Retouching

Use high-frequency separation on the original photographed model to create a blur, even out all of the tones, retouch the skin, paint the eyes black, add a 3D model to create the face reflections, and end by applying the three-dimensional lines to the face.

7. Create an 80's Style Chrome Logo Text Effect

Use a mix of layer styles and color overlays to reproduce the shiny metal effects and vibrant colors, add specular highlights, and finish with some grainy texturing.

8. Create a Cyberpunk / Vaporwave Look

Start by adjusting the colors to make the pinks and blues pop, apply a lens flare effect, then finish by adding neon signs.
